If you are transferring your domain name to DOMAINSunder, there are five things you need to do:
- Turn off the domain name privacy
- unlock the domain name
- make sure you have access to the admin email address for the domain name
- Get the EPP (for Canadian domain names) or authorization code for the domain name from the existing registrar
- Initiate the transfer of the domain name
Note that domain name transfers can take a week if you have all the information required, so don't wait until the last minute to do a transfer.

Transferring a domain name to another person or entity
If you want to transfer your domain name to another person, then it is quite simple. If your domain name us with us, just login and open a support ticket requesting the change. We may need to set up a new account for the recipient if you have other domain names in your account.
If the domain name is with another registrar, just initiate a transfer as shown above.
