All Dot-ca transactions are suspended until tomorrow morning.

CIRA is upgrading its .CA Registry system to serve you better. Administrative transactions are impacted from 9 a.m. (ET) June 12 to 9 a.m. June 13.

Ottawa, June 12, 2012 – Today, the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) will be performing a system upgrade to its .CA registry. This upgrade, known as middleware implementation, will result in a much more secure, robust and scalable system. For Registrars, the benefits will be immediately apparent. Maintenance window outages within the new system will be a fraction of the time that is currently required and this reduction in down time will make it easier for Registrars to work with CIRA. As a result, the registry upgrade will result in a more fine-tuned system that will benefit and save time for everyone in the .CA community.

In order to successfully complete the upgrade there is a 24 hour service outage from 9:00 a.m. (ET) on June 12 to 9:00 a.m. (ET) on June 13.
